Altred & Richard

 Oh, where can I begin with these two? They are another pair of my graduating students. Just like with Brenda and Paniel, these two have taught me more than I can even begin to put into words. These two taught me the importance of showing the people around you your heart. They taught me countless Marshallese words (almost all of which I butchered with my terrible pronunciation). They taught me the value of family and friendship in how they look after not only each other, but all of their friends, and that "family" isn't always who shares your DNA or last name. Richard taught me how to play ukelele, and Altred taught me how to dance like a warrior. 

I am so proud of these two young men. I am proud of how pure and golden and big their hearts are. I'm proud of their unmatched work ethic. I am proud of who they are each growing to be, and where they are headed. I absolutely cannot wait to see where life takes these two, and I am so thankful that I got to play a small part in it during this time.
